Well took the MT out the other day for a run. Though I might do some timed laps to see how low I can get it, had a massive off, here is a list of the parts so far I know need attention.

Rear Wing - Alloy home made wing courtesy of Rossco is bent like a bannana
Choke Lever - snapped in half
Fuel Return Line Nozzle Thingy - snapped in half, sits ontop of carby
Dom top end pipe - Cracked it where the mount is that attaches to gear carrier, tried to fix it yeasterday with arc welder which was a big mistake. Leak might be fixed for a while but looks like crap. Think ill be in the market for a new pipe soon!
Fried the throttle servo. 2 995's I got brand new don't work! Hope I haven't damaged my receiver somehow.

Considering my FG is completley stock except for some engine and pipe mods nothing broke, very impressed.

mate gutted i had some bad luck the other day as well was all going well then rounded two wheel squares off then changed wheels over to the tracktor tyres all going ok then front hit into a rabbit hole car jumped up a bit then had no steering servos game over got it home had a closer look and its snaped splines off one servo and the other one seems jammed solid so not a cheap day out gutted sorted the wheels out swaped rims about tracktor rims off spikey ones on tracktor rims saved them but need a new servo now not going to run two going back to running one its cheaper when things go wrong

on a 4wd they would be wicked but on my bug it was spinnig most of the time but had good control but i was on grass so on a different surface they could be great tyres ie sand loose gravel might be good but i think they look better than they perform

damn ren thats a shame, 2 servo's are going to hurt the back pocket, thats for sure. what servo's u running?

strange it happened so easily though, i run one 5755 and have hit curbs, holes, bottles u name it, never done a servo that way.

voo yeah it was an awesome crash, so wish I got it on camera, to cut a long story short it did a front flip after landing on roof bounced 6ft in the air and then landed on the stinger and rear wing!

I know mate,I had mine on my Beet and they were diabolical! virtually zero traction. I used them on the front and they were great, but on the rear you may as well forget it.
Set of four near new Trakktor tyres anyone???

You must have been giving it some hammer :clown: don't arc weld anything on these - it will look like bird poop  TIG welding is more controllable & will give you a nice neat finish, quick polish up & like a new 1 again :cool2:

ren i highly recomend the 5755. everytime I take my MT out I jump it pretty hard (at least chest hight sometime head height) and the landings arnt always flat. sometimes lands and a front wheel and pulls it hard one way. hitech never faults though, always comes back for more punishment.

I fried a 5745 once but that was my fault, that 5745 lasted 10 litres in a XRC and another 10 litres in my MT before I killed it by being stupid. 5755 has only had 5 litres on it but hasnt missed a beat, still going strong and so quick, just love it.

regarding the MT tyres they are awesome lasting but traction isnt one of their strong points. i will be trying a set of mud slingers from FS when oversizerc get them in stock. will let you know how they perform.
