it was the fg Renault maxi megane I think,,, same as a touring car running a 510/515mm chassis and slightly taller wheels and a bit higher ride height
 
Am I correct in thinking the MCD Focus, Evo, etc bodies are 530-535mm?

The impression I'm also getting is that longer throw, softer sprung/damped onroad FG chassis have been used with MCD bodies?

I've thought of doing this myself sometimes.

It's nothing I've ever seen but that said, I've not seen everything. A rally body would look cool on a touring car but you'd never find the right looking wheels & tyre to finish it off unless you cut & shut something like a mini block tyre to fit a touring car wheel. Anything else would just look like a touring car with buggy wheels like you see on ebay.
 
When the new BMW body comes out from FG, I have a feeling it will be popular. Could that with the Leopard 2wd or 4wd platform and it go and look well.
 
Cant wait to see it. But i afsked last year when i should be ready. Then they said 2-3 weeks. But they keept delaying it.
A bit sad its not ready yet.
 
I had wanted that bmw x6 body really bad but i couldn't take the wait its bin a long time since they first showed pictures of it. It well definitely be popular when released it will probably cost between $200-$250 US dollars
