Yesterday a huge box arrived! It's always cool to get another ride in, and I'm stoked over this one. It's the FG BMW M3, American Le Mans edition! I made a video of what I found in the box, I hope you guys enjoy watching it!

Looks good man. I got mine about a month ago with out an engine with 2 speed transmission and a view other goodies.LOL Attempted to paint the body myself and jacked it up, but good news is I got a new one. I look forward to your progress, so please keep us updated.

Too bad about your first paint attempt! What shell did you get?
 
Looking good there fella, great cars and alot of fun once they're set up correctly, I was trying to build a carbon/alloy short wheel base FG but have had to pull the plug due to the SWB bodies costing an absolute fortune, 390euro's painted from Germany is a little too rich for my tastes considering it will be in bits within a month, going back to the 353mm wheelbase such as yours as the shells are more readily available with a Sportsline comp chassis, I'll post up on here once all my parts arrive and the build commences, I will have a carbon fibre swb chassis up for grabs if anyone is interested
 
I have an FG Opel Calibra from the mid-90s. I sold it to my brother way back when and I'm going to buy it back. Any ideas on a new body? I don't know what the wheelbase is on the Calibra and it's three hours away from here.

Think it is 530 so any long wheel base body like 320si, m3, alfa..... should if. Please correct me if I am wrong. ;)

I have done some research since my last post, including contacting FG in Germany. It seems that the Calibra and the MINI are both have 515mm a 515mm wheelbase. This is the middle length, where most are 535mm.

Oh, itis same as a mini then it is 510mm.... only body still available I think are the 911 (careful the old 911 will not fit, only the new one's), and mini........
