Hi, I'm looking for an Fg sportline, in good used condition... Preferably upgraded with alloy parts, any car considered so if your looking to sell... let me know price... Also must be willing to post unless you are close to Doncaster.

ill try and find you one though leave it with me whats your budget like and towards the winters the best time to get them prices seem to drop then and you can grab a good bargain
 
Well spotted mate.. But I'm hoping for a bit more alloy... If I'm gona get a good one I'd rather spend that bit more for one that is already upgraded rather than buying loads of parts.. First one has a carbon chassis though!

Iv got saved searches now on eBay for everything relating to Fg so just have to wait for right one now.

Don't hold out much hope for a diamond. Do your best to up your budget and look out for a racers FG evo because you'll be starting from a much better platform.
 
Ok thanks mike... Iv seen well upgraded ones going for near my budget before on eBay but essential in the market for one then... Maybe I won't find a diamond but maybe a Sapphire.. Lol.

What do you think to the two on eBay listed above?

Yeah I spotted that one mate... Was gona post it here see what you thought... The shells not up to much but it's got evo chassis and hydro brakes... You said its been on a few times, was it priced higher to start with? Why do you think it's not sold?

Think iv seen pics of your fg on the forum... Isn't it mostly alloy parts.. Must have got a real bargain for £500
 
mines full alloy now apart from diff mounts but as soon as i find some cheap enough then i will change them as well but its not really a issue,check it out on my thread here mate ive spent a couple of quid upgrading the servos and bits here and there but its a great car and a wicked tool

This one would looks like the best of the ones you've posted - but I'd still hold out a bit longer.

This is the kind of thing you want to be looking at rather than a plastic car 1100 Euros is peanuts compaired with what you pay new AND it's got all the toys.

That is a great looking car mike.. Pushing my budget a bit but value for money wise a bargain, and just the sort of thing I'd be looking for. I'm not in a huge rush to buy as I have the Carson to play with... More reason to hold out for the right one as you say. Did see a contrast neox on eBay a bit back for about 800, it was a nice looking car.

Contrast are good cars with good service from Mark at contrast UK. A good plan if you're going for something like that is to email him the link and ask his advice.

FYI Dealers to consult.

Contrast - Mark Grant at Contrast uk
HARM - Jim or Adam Griffiths at rapid racing uk
RS5/Technokit - Cormac or Nick Wyatt at Team maximum service
Genius - Gary priest at Total racing
FG - Me, although I'm not a dealer I can normally tell if it's worth a punt.

Very little in the way of help in the UK for Lauterbacher but you could try Jim or Adam at rapid racing as they did do Lauterbacher years ago.
