FG Trucks Pro's and Con's??????

FG is by far my favorite r/c, parts are top notch, and reliability is excellent. I have one of there on road trucks like you posted in your link and I wouldn't trade that thing for anything. You truly wouldn't go wrong if thats the one you went with.
 
Just a thing to bare in mind with anything on road. You won't have tons of grip when you run the slicks without good clean tarmac, a good set up and some heat in the tyres. For parking lot racing you might be aswell cutting some grooves in the tyres to help get the tyres warmer quicker - tyre warmers are a good buy too if you're not short of a quid or 2.

Although I'd always advise people to get the competition line cars, the sports line is a good place to start if money is a little bit tight.

1 more thing, stick to a standard engine untill you can drive the car well and even then, you'd be better off putting upgrades on that will make your car more reliable.
