Hi all where is the best place to get fg upgrades for the onroad stuff? thanks

Rossendale models always carry good stock and are only 3/4hr away from you. They are the main distributor for King Cobra too.

DDM have been know to have excellent pricing as well.

Check the FG parts lists / diagrams carefully, but half of my Macca F1 GTR is off Ebay.
It can be hit-and-miss but there are many near-new parts for way less than half list price there.

for second hand bits ebay is the best for new stuff i us thepitstopshop.nl or hobbytek in germany are well worth trying

For someone from UK, +1 on Renbar.
I've spent a lot at all 3 places - good prices, excellent service.
NEVER BE IN TOO MUCH OF A HURRY, and search everywhere - these things are expensive and you can save yourself a fortune and still get the parts you want.

and don't be put off buying secondhand alloy it can be cleaned up quick with a bit of wet and dry and a quick pollish and cost in some cases half of the new part all my bug was built from secondhand alloy a couple of new bits but once the cars been used a couple of times it all looks the same

You should also look at Nutech GT5R parts. most will fit the FG on roads. I just ordered rear upper and lower arms for my VW 4wd conversion. Cheap bling is always handy. About 70% of my Semi is Nutech parts and survived this season just fine, wore out a set of tires and a pair of dif cups but the alloy parts are still tight
