Hi all
We have bean thinking about making a fibreglass body for the Baja 5t. There will be a few different changes to it, like some air scoops etc. If any one would like give me some ideas how they would like to see the 5t body. We are thinking about the looks of the desert rat

I think you have a great idea about a new body. I would make the fenders slightly wider, i think that would looks good. Also, see maybe if you could include a place for mudgards in the rear..

The only thing i don't know is the fiberglass. I would think it will crack especially with the beating some of these trucks take. Would a heavier duty ployeurethane body be better?

Ok i just read your other thread about the bodies you currently make and they look really tough. disregard that comment about the cracking.. ;)

Still Wider would be better imo. I don't like none of the 5T bodies out right now. Would look more like a short course truck if it covered the wheels better.
 
Thanks lads we are looking at the pro-line-desert-rat not the 5t body
so you would think it would be nice with wider fenders then (wheel arches)mmm rubing wheels ok anything else.
something like a spoiler at the back ???

just had a look at the desert rat shell, if you make the arches the same width as the tyres they shouldn'e rub as the arches are bulged too on the rat shell.

as for a spoiler i was thinking something like the fg stadium but not as big, bit like the mitsi evo 9 :cool2:
