I had some good info from the guys here on air filter mods.


Now thinking about outerwear filters.


I'm going to get a pull start filter.


I hear the bottom filter is not so good with the rear dog bone...so not getting that?


What outer wear fits the stock air filter? [until I upgrade the filter to that tapered/offset cone filter]
 
I just tried it, it's a loose fit. It won't do you any good. The Outerwears for the Losi might work, I don't have one to try, though. If you want to run the stock filter, oil the inner filter and coat the edge of the top filter with some grease so it'll create a seal up against the lip of the housing. It should be fine as long as you service it after every run.
 
With the stock filter you could ues panty hose to cover the air filter,thats what I use till I find a outerwear that fits.

Plus it makes it look crazy sexy. LOL
 
Chue's XB is in trouble if he see's this. He's already tight in the pants over the Grafil body. A panty hose prefilter might push him over the edge.
