Just ordered a MT Pro from Davesmotors, comes with a free side Dom. pipe.

Also have some parts on the way from largescalerc.com - drive cup sleeves, axle boots, bigger batt pack, steel gears, cone air filter, shock covers and a couple extra pieces of blus alum. :)

I orig. wanted to get a 5b, but after reading around on here and watching som videos of the 5b and vids of the Rampage, I decided Rampage for sure! I live on a farm, so I figured the 4wd would be more fun than a faster 2wd.

And I may get some TT wheels and tires so I can run it as a buggy too if I get a hankering.

Can't wait for it to get here. Gonna spend a day or two installing things and getting to know it really well before I take it out. But I will definately post pics and maybe a vid when I get it!

Never driven a 5b but I do know that if you add a little power to the

Rampage speed will never be an issue. The 4WD aspect is a godsend

in dirt, asphalt or concrete. You'll love the way the tires hookup... :D

Goodluck with the build and spend your time reading up on it as much as

possible before it arrives. I had about a month to study up on it before I

actually got one and it saved me from making so many mistakes. I have

not had any problems so far(knock on wood)...lol

Welcome to the addiction, bank account drainer and wallet killer... :)

Got a box from LargeScaleRC.com today :D

All I can say is Holy S*#T! It's beginning to sink in how big this damn thing is really gonna be! Looking at the shock covers and the axle boots, I was taken aback. The air filter and Vel stack are huge! The drive cup sleeves are like napkin rings! The blue alum. gas cap looks like it could fit on my Silverado in the parking lot! I'm 6'2" and 135 lbs, I think I'll be able to ride in this thing when it gets here HAHA

I can't wait 'til the truck gets here...I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas morning! lol

I've already planned out the weekend , getting all the hopups installed and doin the pre-run checklist. Will definately post pics when I get started.

Radio Question

So, got my stuff today from LargeScaleRC.com...

There was no manual with the radio and receiver. This is gonna sound dumb, but, which chan is the throttle and which chan is the steering? I got a three chan, so I'll eventually put a 3rd chan kill switch on it. Also, is there anywhere that I can find a tutorial on setting a radio up? It's an HPI TF-10. I didn't want to spend too much on a radio after spending all the cash on the truck, but I'm sure I'll upgrade it later.

I looked on HPI's site and couldn't find a manual to download... Any help is greatly appreciated :)

Fed-Ex grrrrr

Fed-Ex lost my truck! Not really, but the zip code was wrong so now it's in another city and having to be re-routed to me. Looks like it'll be another day or two before I get my grubby little hands on it :(

Oh well

Simple way to remember what goes where is the phrase "turn and burn"

Turn for ch 1 and burn for Ch2

Sucks they lost the truck hehe. it'll be worth the wait, trust me.

I like simple :) that's makes sense, I'll remember that.

Yeah, could be worse, At least i do know where it is, even if it's not where it's 'sposed to be.
