ahhhhh the suspence is killing me ... my mt will arrive tommorow afternoon...

soooo i have a question....again :D lol

i talk to nick at redcat and he said that the latest shipment of ramps has seemed to be more reliable side than previously... quote "haven't had any problems since the first shipment of ramps" sooo does this mean i can fill her up and let her rip... id love that :D .... im just anxious

i would replace the throttle brake servo still

if you just want to run it do it it takes the same amount of time and effort to fix what breaks before it breaks as it does after it breaks but that throttle brake servo has been a problem with mine and it died at full throttle which was a bad day the first day a destroyed rampage within 5 minutes

I would still do the same preventative maintainance things before running. Green locktite on the dogbone pins and using tubing to center them only takes about 30 minutes but can save you days of downtime. There's nothing worse than having a new toy and the only thing you can do is stare at it while waiting for parts.

Also, when you are locktiting the pins on the center dogbones you might as well unbolt the front and rear end to get them out. That way you can remove the suspension arms, hub carriers, and steering mount and boil em for 20 minutes while the locktite is drying up.

ive never lost a pin i think they fixed that one

you could center them

and most guys on here just run a hitec 645 mg ok for the price

you could go with a better servo that will last longer but there 100 or more dollars

the rear diff pins will break for sure but you might get 2 tanks out of them or just get the pins for free from rob at rampagehopups.com good service from him fast to

we don't really have a need to boil arms alpha since we live in fair climate ive only broke one going high speed into a parked car

I think Rob said that the factory had changed the plastic formula so is less brittle now...i think he said the upgrade kits have the better plastic too...i boiled mine before i knew this so wont be able to tell the difference.

:( ... if im going to space my dogbones i might as well locktite them... and i might as well install the diff pins if i cant get more than 2 or 3 tanks... dang it!!! oh well, better to be safe than sorry... well thats what they say.... unfortunatly im known for being sorry! haha!
