LOL, Ive had a ball today with my MT. I purchase this truck a couple of weeks ago new and took it completley apart because I cant keep anything stock, built the stock engine up, removed all the blue off the alum. I also upgraded the servors and radio. chromed the engine and put a bright red paint job on the body. So I finally got to run and break the engine in today. Once I got it fine tuned, I was smiling like a young boy in a strip club on his 21st birthday ( man its fast). I was making large rounds in a local school parking lot when I noticed smoke coming from the mid section of the body but didnt stop thinking it was the new burning off. No it was the brakes and I mean they caught fire but didnt cause no major damage. Just wanted to share this with everyone because it was pretty cool. Ive always had nitro's and never seen this. I must of installed the brakes wrong or something.

No pics, they had to be dragging but you couldnt any power decrease. Im getting them fixed as soon as possible. Im really loving this truck. Just wondering if theres a upgrade brake set up available

i don't know of any upgrades but the stock ones will flip your truck on its roof if they are set up right with a good strong servo

Amen to that! The Rampage brakes are the $h!t unlike my other brand of buggy even with a 5755 on T/B :(

Yup they must have been dragging. I've smoked a set of discs just like you did because when I put my throttle horn back on it was one spline off.

Also, like the other guys say, you don't need an upgrade because the stock brakes are plenty strong.
