need to know if this two speed will work om my firehammer truck and need to know web sites to buy part for it awesome truck tho

I do not think they even make the Firehammer any more. Getting parts is going to be difficult. I recommend you do not put much money in it and get something else.
 
there was a guy on another forum i was on that had a 2 speed on a firehammer buggy. the fh gears comes to an odd number were as the fg gears come to an even number so you'l have to change the gear carrier and the motor mount. fg has a very very small difference that you won't notice till you miss match them so if you buy both of them in plastic witch isn't much money or spend a little more for the alloy then it'll work. a firehammer is a exact clone of an fg just like a kingmotor baja to the hpi.

thanks i just learning these 1/5 scales way differnt from traxxaxs truck know any one need a tmaxx truck 3.3 got one for sale has some upgrades on it

they don't make tjis firehammer mt anymore but there very fun tho
 
yes fg parts fit. i had fg bulk heads and diff on mine. if your going to change any drive line you'll have to go all fg. i had the fh clutch/gear carrier and the fg motor mount but kept having problems till i looked real close at the 2 motor mounts and found a very very small difference. i changed the clutch/gear carrier to fg and never had a problem. don't mismatch and everything is ok, but some stuff is exact.

Yea the Firehammer is a chinese clone of the FG Marder. As some have said there are certain parts like the gears which are different. I don't remember where I saw it but there is a site that has a list of compatible parts, it shouldn't be that hard to find on google.

to do fg gears you have to put the fg carrier and motor mount on cause the space is a little wider then the fh. i found that out by mismatching.

does anyone know good site to buy this from FGSTD06039 - Gear carrier plate Alloy having trouble finding it thanks
