guys i need some serious help.... today i started my new dunerunner i got... it was used, got it for 480$ came with hpi pipe shock covers and air filter, today i was driving it and it rolled somehow and broke the rear suspension arm, no big deal i put it back together with zip ties until i get my new one, but here is my problem, i started my car and it was at full throttle and just went i couldnt stop it, lucky for me it hit my porch, but i keep having to take off servo horn and putting it back on because the servo horn appears to slip, i notice when its about to happen because the idle starts to pick up and then i just kill it, any solutions, maybe a metal servo horn, after all that happened i tore it appart and looked at everything, the rest appears to be ok, ps that pipe is reallllly loud, i was runnin it last night when i got it, and we got complaints lol, thank god i live in the country.

yeah i think so too, also my engine bogs down after i run it at full throttle for like 3 donuts, whats wrong?
 
first off if you even think there may be something wrong that could cause a runaway don't USE IT!.

fix the servo problem first please. the bog after a full throttle could be low fuel in the tank. even at 1/4 tank that could happen. especially on a left turn. could be tuned wrong also and leaning out.
 
omg

today my pullstart broke my spark plug rubber boot either cracked or its been cracked and my sparkplug has no spark where can i get the rubber boot and does anyone have any ideas why my engine wont start besides this stuff cuz i had it running earlier and the rubber boot doesn't seem to be too broken except for the gash in it.

if it wont start u need to figure out if it is spark or fuel problem. could be not enough fuel or too much ( flooded) first try to pull it with the throttle open and wheels off the ground. if its flooded that may work. was the tank full? is it the stock engine? theres a great tuning info here someware. choke ? where do u have it? i assume its warm out?

Oh and another poing don't pull the pull starter all the way out.

okay guys i have no spark, my dad thinks i blew the ignition coil so i bought one of those, does it come with the spark plug boot, and if that is not the problem what else could be other than the plug itself, also my car was runnin really crappy before i killed it and it wouldnt start again, it was wanting to go even when i was not pulling the throttle and i trimmed it and it wouldnt go down anymore so i just killed it anyone have any ideas?
 
The stock kill switch is the red button on the engine. Sometimes it sticks. Pull the fan cover off and disconnect the switch, see if it starts. If it starts, your switch needs to be cleaned or replaced. While you have the cover off, check the coil gap.

[/ame]If it wants to accelerate without input from the transmitter, I'd say you need to adjust the idle or you have an air leak. If adjusting the idle doesn't help, check the carb bolts and make sure they're tight.

ok so it has spark now, i plugged the servos in and all of a sudden the battery box had smoke coming out of it,....... i blew a hole right through the reciever
 
At least take a multi meter and make sure the hot and ground leads are not shorted on each servo. I've seen that happen and it will smoke any receiver plugged into it.
 
It gets better

How do i replace the center dogbone that goes to the gears from the front wheels it is split into 2 dogbones i need to replace the farthest one back. The one above the gas tank I cant get it out
