Try adjusting the trim a little on Transmitter to keep the throttle slightly open atleast then you may be able to keep it running to tune it.

yeah did try this to still no luck

surly it can't be this hard to tune and get running right i might stick the old air filter back just incase the new has a air leak or something ..!

1. fuel mix 25.1 check
2. choke correct check
3. H- L needles back to standard check
4. pull start fixed check
5. fuel lines look ok check
6. fuel tank might be a prob -- can this cause any faults ?
7. new spark plug .. removed and dried ..check

8. anything i missed ?

Not that i can think of other than making sure your zorst is bolted tight! Im new to this too only had mine since christmas i did have an issue where i couldnt get it started that turned out be crappy fuel and a freak flooding which i never did find out what happened. Im sure some of the 5th scale vets on here will have a better idea of whats going on!

mmm could be fuel was told to use super unleaded i may dump that get some normal unleaded and a mixer botlte

Supper unleaded should be fine. What colour is your spark plug? This will give some indication of running conditions. Could be the coil get needs resetting - it should be 0.3mm or thickness of a business card will do for a gauge.

EUREKA..KA..KA kaaa...

and finally its now all sorted and sorry if i swear but bloodyhell i.m a FU..KING muppet !!

so decided to take to my mate who is a 2 stroke lambretta and vespa guru and he had a quick look and reset the H and L needles and done fully running no stalling and i've now used a whole tank....whoohoo!!! awesome fun

whats the fault you ask?? well due to being a muppet and a novice in petrol rc cars instead of tuning the needles 1 and half turn on H and 1 and quater on L i only turned them H 3 quaters and L half thinking i had turned them to correct ..meaning running lean VERY lean lol hence why its stalling no bloody fuel

so now very happy and of to play see ya :w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t:

and guys thnaks again your a good bunch :D

Glad its finally sorted! It pays to read twice & double check what you are doing is right even if it means walking away for a few hrs to clear your head and then having a fresh look at it later. its not being a muppet its just cos its new!!

took the car out for a proper spin on open ground started 1st time ran for 10 mins then cut out and never start again for the whole day ... GRRR .. time to strip and check i may go and buy a good used engine now
