hi guys i finally got my throttle and brake linkages figured out and went on my first run today and i was impressed with the truck until i had a dogbone come out on the front of the truck i took it home and put springs in the cups on all four corners that should take care of the problem. i have a question i have a hitec aggressor fm radio and i noticed i wasent getting much range from my radio it might be because the stock battery wasent fully charged is the stock battery good or should i upgrade my battery i need more range from my radio thanks.

i have the stock batteries in all three rigs. i get about 1.5 tanks of before they die. i also have an aggresor that i "don't" use. it gets about 200' of range and theats it. spring for a futaba 3pm or better

Stock HPI pack 3000 is good for 2.5 tanks, maybe. I used it in my 5T and I could go maybe 3 tanks but never pushed it past 2.

Thats weird. I charged my batts on a super brain 989 each time 1 hour before using them and HPI 3000, elite 5000, both good for 4+ tanks, stock 1500 2-3 tanks. Never found out past 4 as between 2 rigs thats 8 tanks and Im tired and going home. My FM agressor glithched like crazy and blows out servo as soon as they get plugged in. I went with airtronics FHSS 2 technology. I have never been out of range, glitched or cut off.

You would know better then me. I was too scared to go past 2 tanks but I have a cheap a$$ charger which does not help.
