Had my first run with the XRC on sat. Encouraging to say the least.

I already love how easy these things are to control (in open spaces anyway) and how little you need to do to them (unlike their nitro siblings).

Took it to a massive car park and ran it for about 20 mins, working nice but very slow off the line (discussing this in another post).

Once its moving though its impressive, after about 50 meters it really starts to haul, after 100 meters its still accelerating quite hard, then I run out of room.

So I took it to a track with a mate who has a good 1/8 electric. I put mine on the side of the track to have a smoke and he starts his and has a play, within 30 seconds he drove into mine (which was parked off the track) at full pelt and busted a steering arm. NOT HAPPY JAN! LOL.

So now im waiting for parts. :(

:nono:not good mate, one of the lads who comes out with me had a hyper 7 (nitro) and didn't check other peoples cristals and started bashing round and a young kid set of with his buggy across the field and it took hold of my mates and drove his hyper into a tree  as you can guess no hyper 7 left

yeah it bent it in two the only thing we saved was the centre spider diff and the spoiler mounts :( he was guna get all the alloy bits so he wasn't that bothered so 3 days later he got all new alloy hop-ups and rebuilt a new one :)

My Unifilter just came in today? Bit curious as to how its going to fit under the roll cage. Ill find out when I get home I suppose.

Has your mate changed to a DSM radio?

Nitro should be running today or tommorow, sort out a clutch problem.

1/5 should also be running today or tommorow. Waiting on some plastic bits for the steering. Should arrive today or tommorow at latest. I only need 20 mins once I have the parts to get it back on the road.

Needs a good tune though which I hope to do this weekend weather depending.

Just got off the phone with the mob that are SUPPOSED to be supplying my bits. I ordered them on Saturday. They still haven't left the shop and there were in stock when I called on Saturday!!!

So pissed off. Im not going to post anything nasty yet but if this kind of service continues ill be posting a name and telling everyone here how I feel!
