First time at Track With My 5 SC

Going to the track for the first time with my 5 SC. My fingers are crossed. I have only maybe an hour of drive time and that was on a baseball field. This should be interesting. :D

Any tips/suggestions besides having fun? :)

The only track for a 1/5 is 3 hours away (Greenwood Valley Action Track - Baja Modifiers). As I return home, I will greeted with Irene. :mad:

I did replace the slipper and the bead locs were replaced too. The steering servo was replaced because it was defective.

Your rig. We've all seen the videos. Suspension looks supple enough - are the shocks still nearly full of oil or are there any leaks?

No oil leaking from the shocks yet. :D I don't want to break it, but if it breaks - it broke from having fun.
I am installing the slip dif. Before you install it, you need to disassemble the whole rear assembly. Of course the clip went flying and I am not able to find it. The little time I have had driving the truck - it has been a blast. The 1/10 cars are getting dusty.

Never understand the amazing attraction, but to a petrol-head, these things are brilliant.

Take care you don't get curious about a MERV, or you may change that opinion!!

You are very lucky as the closes large scale track to me NOW is 300 miles one way. I really miss racing!!!!! Main thing is to have fun. I have a saying about racing [if you start and finish it is a good day and anything else is a bonus!]

WOW, I thought 172 miles was far. Your track would be a vacation. :)
