sorry guys complete noob here!:( just got my metal gears and they have been sent with a bag of washers and e-clips. probably a dumb question but do the washers go behind the cogs (fitted first then the gear then the e-clip) or (gear first then washers then e-clip?). looks tidier with the washers behind the gears but not sure does it make any difference?

thanks in advance

The idea is to align the gears for a maximum 'best fit', also to ensure it's tight and permanent!
These motors are very powerful, and there are many stories of people losing 'power' through movement of gears.
Hope this helps - a little.
(Generally they're in front of the gears, for a tight fit, but it depends on you individual installation.)

As Atom says, place washers where they mesh together the best.
I had mine behind the Gears though but either should be ok.

i have the same gears, the washers are bigger than the bearing so it will rub if you put on inside! :( ...for me the way around it was i got another small washer & put that on 1st as it was smaller than the bearing so it wouldnt rub, then i put a bigger washer on after it :)

ive got it lined up sweet at the mo, but bot been out with it yet! :(
