flames coming out of the pipe ?

as soon as it happend i killed the engine (kill switch) i just stood there thinking
wtf!! so i started her back up again and flames where still coming out on idle ?

so i ran her up and down and the flames stopped and after that it didnt do
it again... so why with the flames ??

she was running fine the was no problems, no miss firing or anythin
it was just spiting fire from the pipe.

Are you sure it's not plug related?
If you've been blasting around a lot, the pipe may get hot enough to ignite the unburnt fuel?
Sounds fun, but as you imply, a tad on the dangerous side!!

I've had smoke from the surface of the pipe before but never a flame. A little risky on dry grass, but probably a cool visual to behold.

i'd say that perhaps there was unburned fuel which accumulated in the pipe which started to burn once things heated up.
