Hey guys! Gotta say this is prolly the BEST forum out there! First time poster, first time user!

I have a baja 5t and i'm having issues with the damn thing flooding. Will not start, will not even atempt to crank. I've tried the upside down pulling the draining the fuel. It'll crank...run like poop then shut off. Try to start again and once again flooded. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated!!

Hi Stevo, there are a few basics:

Is the battery fully charged?
Are the HT connections OK - is the plug sparking? (SEARCH this Forum for how to)
If not already, reset your carburettor to factory settings - 1 1/4 LOW, 1 3/8 HIGH - perhaps these have been tampered with. The factory settings are normally fairly close to start with.

Hey Al!
Thank you so much for the quick responce! Everything is at factory settings. All this happened when i installed the killerbee kill switch. I know installing this thing has nothing to do with it but its kinda weird that it started this after the install. I've never had any issues with it...it'll crank on first pull after choking it. Its been really reliable till now. I installed a new plug gapped properly and the needles have never been messed with. This is really bugging me!

if you not sher an you think it started when u installed the killerbee try un-installing it an try an if it works fine then u know what it was and if it dosent it could be the spark plug or stale gas thats not burning up just a thought hope it works all the best

+1 on this.
Killer Bee's are reliable.
Sometimes a connection may work loose.
Try disconnecting the KB and starting again.
Not a lot can go wrong at the killswitch end, so work on the other end.
Sounds like a bad connection and the KB's convinced it's lost signal.

You say all this happened when you installed the KB. Is the KB activated on your handset? If it is you wont be able to start it. What set you running?

Hey guys!
Thank you all for all the info you guys gave me! It was just flooded and for the some reason the low idel screw was completely off! This thing runs like a champ now!
I agree the killbee switch is one really reliable product! I'm going to order another one for my 5b too!
Thanks again guys!
