Is this a better radio than the stock? And why
much better then stock,

  1. rechageable battry
  2. lots of fuctions to play with (i love the ABS, but its a killer on your brakes and brake square running onroad)
  3. the 3rd channel is usable!! (i might be blind, but the stock reciver has 3 channels?? but i could never find the 3rd channel button on the transmitter??)
  4. light and steardy in your hands
  5. Cheap recivers (if you needed more)
  6. cheap extra battrys
  7. cheap package for 2.4ghz system!
  8. you can get hacks for them and added extra channels and change features
  9. Very light transmitter!!!!
  10. 3rd channel button is in a lovly place (right next to ur thumb, unlike most transmitter where im sure they put the 3rd channel switch in the most awkuard places)
  11. After hacking them you can set them up for rock crawlers! (e.g like for independate steering)
heres a link to a some1 stripping the controller down so you can see its build quality http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/electronics/376128-flysky-gt3c-first-look.html

The stock transmitter is a 2 channel. Hate it when they do that. Like Traxxas giving you a 4 channel receiver, but only a 2 channel transmitter.

I hacked my gt3b last night and upgraded to firmware 6.1. I must say, I'm very impressed. Setting inactivity alarm to some minutes, or changed the duration of back screen light. All within a couple of seconds.

After filling around I was able to assign the 3rd channel trim to stop/start and reset one of the two timers. I haven't figured this thing out completely, but so far I'm very impressed.

Spend like 4 euros on the voltage regulator, and like 10 euros on the stm8s discovery board. Tutorials on the web are very good.

they make a usb charge adt. that piugs in your car lighter. it's about half the size of the lighter itself no wire to get in the way just a round plug with usb female in the middle. i've got them in every thing i drive. you can pick them up for like 6 bucks.

does anyone know if I upgraded from the gt3b to the gt3c- would my receivers be compatible? I like the idea of the rechargeable battery.
Yes those use the same receiver. It is also the same receiver that comes with the Redcats.
