As everyone knows a lot of us tried the FlySky on our gassers but found out most couldn't because:


1. The kill switch doesn't work on 3rd or 4th channel


2. You can't engage the kill switch by shutting the TX until after you turned off the RX. Good feature but kills the use of using the power button to activate the switch.


Well after deciding I only bought this for the MT and only plan on having 1 gasser, I decided to mod my IT4 by installing a master cut off switch to cut all battery power which allows shutting the system down in order to activate the killswitch on the truck. In theory it should work. Pics below.

It's an illuminated switch but left unhooked.
 
I did and it's hit and miss. Sometimes the led goes red other times it doesn't. Too bad, I like the functions on it. I guess it's my GT3B or DX3R for know.

I'm tried it on a Ramtech. I'll run on another TX until I get a Killer Super Bee. I think a few people have got it to work on it.

Which failsafe are you running?

Mvaughn, thanks a million bro! I flashed the new firmware and now can bind the old rcvrs allowing me to use the radio. So far ramtech killswitch works with turning radio off. Haven't tried third channel yet. Kinda disappointed about not being able to use telemetry. But can atleast use the radio. Do like features such as idle up and engine shutoff which basically cuts the throttle servo.
