FPV camera suggestions ?

Any of you guys fitted FPV cameras to your buggies/trucks ? Been reading up and watching vids, but im still not sure what to get.

Nice on a drone, would not last very long on our ruff and tumble dirt burners
I keep my riggs close enough to me so I do not need FPV to see what its doing....LOL
I do have a freind that put a go-pro on a 2S lipo RC12L carpet car with a stupid hot brushless motor and it was a intense vid to watch!!

A gopro of some sort is the norm from what I know.

I bought a GOPRO clone for about 70 dollars . Works great and if it dies i'm only out 70 bucks .
