Hey

Has anyone got some advice on upgrading the front and rear center-driveshafts?

Ive been searching all over for upgrades, but no luck.
The pins in those center-driveshafts get worn so fast, its unbeliveable.

Every 5 liters, new pins.

There must be something out there?

I wish losi had replacement parts available. Seems everything that needs regular maintenance, they and everyone else is out of :/ the drive pin rebuild kits are cheap and the way to go. It won't be long before a bunch of companies start coming out with cool replacement parts. Disappointed in losi tho for making us wait for stock parts. Fast lane machining has replacement cvd's. Rc-car-online.de has driveline parts in stock. They're out of Germany tho. You 'muricans will find out what shipping charges are for once lol.

I encourage everyone to write the companies who make upgrade parts, askin them if they are gonna make center driveshaft upgrades.

So far ive written:

http://www.tlracing.com
http://turtleracingproducts.com

2 have answered so far. They might consider making them if there is a high enough interest.

So write all you can think of. There are prolly more then ive listet.
Make them see we need this.

I agree with this.. even with the weak engine I had in there before my center drive shafts pins were basically flat on both side. almost totally gone...

Some good news.
FastLane Machine wrote to me today. They are working on an upgrade for the center drive shafts, and expect release in 2 weeks.
No info on how they will be build, or what the connections will be. But cant wait to see what they come up with :)

@Noziroh thanks for the info. I'm sure they are going to be real nice, just wish FLM would be a little more responsive in emails...
