front arm skid plates

just wondering what the extra pair of holes in the RPM skid plates are supposed

to do picture is of the RPM type and a standard HPI baja item

You put a screw in either end from the bottom arm side, gives them a bit of strength and stops them from dropping at that point..did they not come with the small screws..?

thanks Ian they did,but i have alloy front arms which i think must be

a smaller section than the plastic HPI arms as there is nowhere to fix

Ah right i see, they are for the RPM arms, not really designed for alloy in mind..
