So, I just rebuilt my diffs. I put Mugen 5K in the front and 7K in the rear. I was running 7K in both, before. Never had an issue, but now the front diff seems like it's binding internally. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the impression that the lower the K rating, the thinner the oil. Unless this doesn't apply to Mugen oil, I'm at a loss for the cause of the binding. Everything installed perfectly, I'm really anal about rebuilding R/C components, so I know for a fact that it's perfect. The funny thing is, I had this same issue when I rebuilt my brushless Slash diffs. I put 5K in the front and it was the same binding feeling. I replaced it with 7K and now it's as smooth as glass. Unless I'm overlooking the fact that the oil is thinner, thus creating less "cushion" between the gears. Has anybody else had this issue?

Try what i have done to mine take diff apart take out o rings in the small gears put it back together and you will notice the small gears no longer rub each other

I switched out the diff case and filled it with 7K fluid. Problem went away. Must have been tweaked slightly.
Deluge, If you have a V3 check to see that the limiting screws just underneath the diff output cup are screwed in far enough to just touch the chassis. If they don't, it will cause gear binding when the wheels are at a certain droop. happened to me a few tanks ago...

BTW, just too hear about the variety, I run 30K front and 45K rear for that limited slip differential

It's a V2 and the diff wasn't installed when I checked for binding. Thanks, though.
