Anybody seen this problem, was cleaning my MT and found a crack in the front diff left side where axle hub comes out down to the bottom where mounting screw comes up through frame, it is leaking fluid out! of course it is saturday and redcat is closed. This otta be fun to fix!

Bummer. I've seen this happen. When one of the front tires takes a direct hit, the leverage from the suspension arm cracks the housing. It's not a hard fix. Inspect the diff while you have it out and do the mod suspension arm holder mod. You shouldn't have that issue again.

Grease goes in the case on the outside of the teeth I use TA black grease. Diff oil goes inside of the diff. In your post you said it was leaking fluid. Did you check the diff also to see if it was crack because that were the fluid will come from not the diff case itself.

I see no cracks but it looks like it is leaking out the ring gear side behind bearing are there seals ? how do you pull out the axle stub shafts out of the diff, do I have to remove the ring gear screws

RCGASSER completely disasembled diff and it is full of grease not oil, looks to me like the fluid is actually the oil seperating from the grease. What is TA black grease

Its team associated black grease I use for the gears you will need diff oil to fill the diff but first remove the old crap grease they have in there then use thewhite lithium grease on the ring and pinion. and rebuild your diff.
