a up all... in the past i have had a fg monster truck well i have just got another one and im up grading all the time.. i have just bought some front disc brakes ( cable ) can you please post some pics off the fitting from the servo foward. also is it better to use a seperate servo for the front discs. ( more pics ).. thanks for the help.. it was about 3 years since i had my last truck and i have had too many beers since then and i cannot remember..:helpsmilie:

Sorry haven't got any pictures of when I had cables on mine, but they are very easy to fit and you can use the throttle servo to pull them. Something like an ACE1015 is a good choice for both jobs (throttle/brakes).
 
separate servo for front brakes using futaba 3rd ch mix, had to drill the elcon shock tower to accommodate the cable mounting (ds1015 are the best) usind a third servo is much better on mt5's

it isn't an mt but my race truck. try to keep the cables as flat as possible. shorten if needed. as long as you got the longer plastic part on the caliper where the cable connects to clear the arm (there is an mt and buggy version with this little arm being different. I actually have the larger upgrade set on this since I run buggy rims.
