Front hub removal how to?

Gonna take the orange off my from hex/hubs and cant figure out how they come off?

Ok think i see,is it the c clip behind the hub?

if its the HPI baja, there is a C clip.. You will want to tape a screw pattern in that hole and just put a bolt there instead of the c clip... When you run the baja, sometimes the wheel pops out because of the c clip.

It's a clone but the same car pretty much. You say bolt it on instead of the clip?

Yes. Get a washer that fits around and then tap a hole. There are a few tutorials on how to do this. It will be a great mod to do. It used to mess me up every time i would loose a wheel..

There is another option......throw the front axles away....

Get another pair of rear steel drive axles + hubs....

Cut the drive cup off the axles so it is just a flange.....

You will then have steel front axles and won't have to worry about snapping them.......or the c clip popping off.

Rhales, that is one of the best diagrams that i've seen of it. Good find.

You will have to Dremel off the e-clip retaining lip until it is flush with the bearing inner diameter.
