I wanted to put the front brace on my xb for the shock tower and ran into the screw not coming out of the front upper top plate assembly that goes through the buffer assembly. Now it is striped out. Not sure why the screw was so tight. Does anyone know what size screw it is because I'm sure I will have to drill it out and any other ideal that may help me out here?

They are in with loctite. Try heating up the bolt with a soldering iron. The heat will soften the loctite.

Loctite. Really. From the factory. I did try and heat it up using my soldering iron but the screw was too far gone. I did what Cordy said. I cut a slot in it but then the screw broke. It did come out but I have to get a new screw. I did find the size in the manual and already put the order in. Thanks for the fast response guys.
