HI GUYS
IM ON A PROJECT...... FEW OF US ARE MAKING 1300/2L STOCKCARS AS I USED TO RACE FULL SIZE 1300s WAS WONDERING IF MAKE FWD MARDER OR IF COULD GET HOLD 4X4 MARDER TO "TAKE OFF" SOME HOW REAR WHEEL DRIVE..........ANY ADVICE WELCOME

To be honest mate unless you fab up the front wheel drive your only option would be 4x4 and remove the rear drive from the rear diff :)
 
the easy way is to get a 4x4 and remove the rear axle shafts, and the guts out of the rear diff. i don't see this working out that well though as the majority of the weight is still on the rear, unlike a fwd car thats got the weight of the drivetrain on the front end.

if you really wanted a fwd the best thing would be to custom build it yourself. move the motor to the front as far as you can.

HPI Baja transmission and engine mounted as they are in the rear chassis plate and primary gears replaced with either a chain or belt drive to get the correct drive direction. The rest is easy to make. You can use whichever parts and just make the mounts.
