Has anybody ran one of the FS tuned pipes?
I see they are about half as much price wise as some other name bran pipes and I was just wanting to know if someone has any opnion on them.
Im going to be looking for a pipe for my firehammer when it gets here.
Tracking it through UPS at the moment. Should be here in a few days. Im starting to get a bit stoked.:2guns:

the only sugjestion that i could make is to stear clear from that guy. he's on another forum and doesn't know his ass from his elbow.. and im not really sure if that fs pipe will fit the hammer, but someone will know..

Yea. Thats where I was getting at was the price,
There is alot out there that don't know there ass from a hole in the ground. Including some local hobbyshops here but if its a decent pipe for my truck and fits thats all I care about.
Im sure somebody will chime in and give me some helpful feedback on the pipe,
Good looking out so I know what to expect if I decide,

a69,
When I look at the pics, it looks like the pipe will face the front of the Firehammer rather than go out the back, this is the pic from RCU on an FS.:

You are looking for a pipe for the Firehammer or Smartech clone, right?

CSP the pipe will be for a firehammer MT thats on its way to its new home here in Ohio.

Cool! You'll love it! If you don't already have kids, welcome your newest money pit into your home. :clown:

Here is why I was showing the pic above:

That particular pipe may interfere with the rollcage.

I see. Im just looking to see what my options are for the budget.
I have a 1/5th on road I got on another forum here looking to convert to off road. Its just a decent pipe was going to be the first purchase but I will see what its all about when it arrives, What about the other 2 pipes? Nay?

Honestly, I would save a bit for the DDM pipes (the torque or the top speed). At DDM they are about 160. If you bid on them on ebay, you can get one for about $120 bucks shipped. That's what I did with mine.

I would say no on the other two unless you really are itching for a pipe that bad. Also, keep watch in the marketplace, sometimes a used one pops up! I'll keep watch as well and let you know if I see one, or at least a good deal somewhere.

I suppose another option is an X-Can, but that really isn't too much of a tuned pipe, it just gives you a great amount of bottom-end. It's good though, I have one I use on occasion with my Baja. They run about 80 bucks at DDM or teamgonads.com (sponsors).

you get the DDM pipe...you will make good power from that....
I have one and have used it very well....I just switched pipe and built a different engine..
I still my DDM Pipe too use.....Best money you can spend for a simple up grade is the pipe
..........................Slawhammer.....................

Hear what coleslaw?
Slawhammer, As for the pipe you mentioned would be great but Im on a major budget thats why I was looking at the so to say economy pipes.
Since they are about half the price of the major bran pipes is more what Im looking at. I have a hard time justifying a pipe that cost $100 less then I spent on the whole truck. It better have some MAJOR performance enhancement. May like it gets a perge of juice when I run it is how I would expect it to be.
