I hadn't even started her yet and I installed the 813 with Shredstack and HPI filter...

Is there a way to change the direction of the fuel jets? They are angled completely different than the stock. I had to pull the lines up through the tank a good inch or so to connect them.

My guess: is you can't change the angle; the way the lines run is OK and I should get longer fuel lines so the clunk hits the bottom of the tank.

Thanks in advance...

Youll prob need longer fuel line BUT you can turn them if they are not too tight. The nipples point different on a 5b so I leaenred when swapping carbs between the Ramp and 5b/5t to rotate them. If its really hard to turn you might snap it but sometimes they are loose enough. You can look at the carb breakdown diagram and see how it goes together so you know how you can manipulate it.

yeah my fuel inlet line gets in the way of the break linkage i need to turn my inlet around also.
Well I tried to turn them today, and I'm just leaving it alone, afraid I'll snap the plastic jets....Just gonna use longer fuel line.

krash i went in the garage and was checking it out and i got the return fitting to turn around to the right position, and i was turning the inlet fitting and snapped it in half not a big deal my rampage not running until i order some parts so ill order this also!! so i had half a fitting stuck in a brand new carb got a pair of pliers and pulled the rest of the fitting out they are pushed into the carb and have kinda small lip at the end so when you push them in they seat and sit tight and don't move anymore now that i took the old one out i can put the new one in the position i want it i included an pic so you can see they just slid in.
Very excellent, thanks for the tip...pun intended...how snug was the return? thats the one i'd like to turn the most, I guess if I snap it I can use the one from the stock carb? It is metal though but looks to be the same hole size.

the return is the top fitting its easy to spin around because its brass into plastic but the inlet at the bottom is alot harder to spin around because it's brass to metal youll snap the plastic before it turns like i did, the only way to do it is to remove your old one, buy or get a new fitting and get it into the right position and firmly push it all the way in till it seats fully thats how i have to do it.
Thanks loads...oops , return top...

well, I picked up some new fuel line, and for now I'm just gonna go with the curved line underneath...till I break her down again for updates...
