fuel lines

my marder has beat up clear fuel line for air, and a black smaller diamater one for fuel flow . I just bought some new yellow fuel line and replaced both lines with it . is there a reason the stock fuel lines are 2 different colores and compounds? black fuel line is soft rubber and air feed line is yellowed/clear harder material . can i use same fuel line for both? thanks in advance

ive been using the thicker one on both lines for 3 years mate without trouble

excellent thats exactly what i wanted to here. the larger lines look much nicer and i figure maybe better fuel flow was a misery to get it through the rubber stopper on the fuel tanks but i managed!!!
