80+ % will say 25:1.
Some will go up to 32:1.
40:1 and higher is for the weed whackers only.
These engines are based on those engines, but rev higher, for longer, with higher loads, and need more lubrication.
Bottom line - NOT RECOMMENDED.

Thanks for the reply I was only wondering as I run 25/1 at the moment but I have a lot of black which I presume is burnt oil dripping from the exhaust when it's left on the stand over night so thought I may have to higher oil mix

These engines do keep their tune, and don't need to be retuned each time they're refuelled, wind's farted the wrong way, or the baby's nappy's just been changed, like nitros do.

I would suggest checking your spark - there's LOADS on Google how to do this.
After this, I'd recommend simply retuning the motor - again, there's LOADS on Google.

I just wanted to backup atom here. Nitros basically need tuning often compared to these 2strokes. I have tuned mine twice, once with the stock exhaust and again with the tlr pipe. Been running 25:1 since day one. Both times I have not had oil drips from my pipes. Oil drips IIRC indicate a rich tuning. I would definitely tune/retune your engine before changing the oil ratio.
