I've been driving some of my platforms again. I currently hold the transmitter sideways with my right hand and have to steer with my left. (wheel facing up) My reattached finger does not have quite enough movement to use it for the throttle/brake trigger. I can use it with my thumb on the wheel to steer. I have been looking into left handed transmitters just so I can hold it a bit more comfortably. The Ko Propo looks really sweet but you need a different base for left-handed use. It is also $600+ and tech support doesn't look that great. The Futaba 4PKS has the ability to swap the steering wheel from side to side with out needing to purchase attachments to do so. It is also $150 less expensive and has great reviews plus awesome tech support. I like the ability to switch. If my finger improves to the point where I can use it for the trigger I would go back to right-handed steering.

My question is, are there any other transmitters that have the option for left-handed steering?

Thx in advance...

Ok airtronics m11 can be left handed, also the older airtronics m8 can be converted to left hand. Also the nomadio radio can go left handed I believe. Hope this helps.

Thanks. If I go futaba it will be my first. I've had some older spectrums (fm) and now luvin the flysky. I'm leaning towards the Futabas. I've thought about cracking open my flysky and moving the wheel to the other side but I think I'll just pass it down to one of my sons. I'd probably ruin a perfectly good radio messing with it. LOL

Just made the order. 4PKS it is! Added the metal case and an extra receiver. I can't wait!

I think the 4PKS comes set up in High resolution mode, so make sure to change that to Norm mode, in the RX Mode menu, if you have analog servos. If you have all digital servos then you're good to go.

good choice I have the 3pk and have been using it for must be 10 years ,I use a spektrum module so I can use all my spektrum receivers.

It came today. It's beautiful. I swapped the steering wheel to the left side. It feels great in my hands that way. Now I have a bit of manual reading to do and then to install the receivers into the vehicles. I am excited to give it a try.

Awesome. I bet that manual is crazy thick!
It's actually not too bad. 129 pages with lots of nice illustrations. However, it's no comic book either. LOL
