you need a 0.30 gap

0.3mm is the correct gap. Most use a business card which works fine but the proper way would be a feeler guage.

i use a 12" gauge i got from amazon for $2.80 shipped,

Header card or business card any should do the trick

I use the Zenoah tool just because I am a tool freak. But a business card will work fine.
