Gas cap FG vs. HPI

Are there really any differense between the threads on the fg vs. the hpi gas tank? I see there are a LOT of HPI gas caps out there, but I can't find many for the FG.

just ordered this and allot pull start handle for my hormann,has fg tank!,the hpi cap is bigger then fg mate!
