I went to Lowes and bought a 90 degree M6 grease fitting and drilled out the grease fitting part to make it hollow. Then used a 7/32 drill bit and drilled in the center of the cap and threaded the hollowed out grease fitting into the cap. Then you apply some fuel tubing to your desired length and Wala your gas cap is vented.

It would be alot easier if you went to an auto parts store and found a threaded fuel fitting this way you don't have to drill out the grease fitting. The only reason I went with a grease fitting is because I was at Lowes and thats all they had and was to lazy to go to the auto parts store.

as for cleaning I just go to the dollar store and buy what ever degreaser they are selling at the time. Works fine. Just straight up WD-40 is good for spraying in the hub carriers, its what I do anyway. hope this helps

Here's an example of a tank vent. Basically, enlarge the vent hole in the cap and run some fuel line from it. You could use a small fitting to hook up the fuel line, or you could just feed the fuel line about a 1/2 inch into the hole and hold it in place with some Seal-All.

I went to Lowes and bought a 1/4 threaded barb fitting. I drilled a HUGE hole in the cap. I used a rubber o ring in the outside AND inside of the cap. Put a nut on the fitting and tightened it. I then used 1/4 " black auto fuel line and that's nearly 1' long. This way I won't spill in a roll over and I can run it anywhere I choose, with or without loops. The ONLY reason I went 1/4 " was because I couldn't find smaller. I also mounded JB weld gas tank repair on the outside of the cap to prevent air/fuel leaks. Long and short, No more vapor lock.........
