Gas Cap

Whats the deal with the stock plastic gas caps? I have a MT and it starts great, but about 10 minutes into running it acts like its starving of fuel. I unscrew the cap and it runs great. I took the rubber diaphram out of the cap and all looks fine. It just seems to be like a vapor lock. Anyone else have this problem?

Upgrade to the aluminum cap, it will solve your problem.

I had the same problem, and it did for me.

The problem is the rubber valve parts, not the housing itself.
