Gear or brake problem

Weird problem : I run my xb and it Stop,the engine run but somethings jam the wheel or gear , i try to push it back and reverse , jam , and for no reason , after a few time he run freely and i can go ..


the gear not sound to great now ..

Check the gears and the gear plate. The bearings have been known to fail and cause mesh issues.

Also, there are set screws on the brake hub. If one backs out it can bind on the brake shoes.

it could be as simple as if the xb uses the 4pin system that one of the layshaft nuts came loose and causing gears not to mesh right at times, This happened on my MT awhile ago

The XB does not have those pins like the MT & DR. What can happen is a possible crack in the plastic gear plate. This is a failure that some have seen.

Tank you all , i found the set screw for the coupling (gears to central) loose , so i put some looktite and and "et voila" !
