Gear Plate Gasket

Made a rubber gear plate gasket,from a piece of 3mm rubber.With some


silicone to fill in the larger gaps,should seal out dirt well.I am going to fill gear


cover with red grease,to get the gears to last a little longer.Hope to keep heat down,with some well greased gears.


Fits the aluminum gear plate,really nice ......... ...Would like to fill with oil,but would leak through the bearings.....

i use orange brake quiet as a gasket


makes a great pliable gasket that will fill the large gap next to that flimsy tab on the gear cover


but it will just wipe away, when you want it to

Is the orange brake like,high temp copper gasket silicone?Thats orange in color,used it to seal nitro engines....

it is good for high temp, ment for hot brakes on passenger cars
