Hi,

I check my gears and found 35-25-25-25 on MT V3 30cc.

I read that 25-35-25-25 is stock.

Have I to switch to 25-35-25-25 ?

Thanks

Do you want pulling power or top speed?
Both:) , just need to know how it comes from factory 25-35 or 35-25?

I was thinking for more speed, but as i see i have almost highest ratio.

If i set to 25-35 how much will top speed decrease?

Here is the list of gearing options.

You should look at a 2-speed gearbox.

@Rob Is it possible that chart doesn't have all the stock gear options? Unless I messed up my count, my DR has 29-31-26-24

Given that the dunerunner has ~0.987 ratio, I seriously doubt the MT would have 0.71 (35-25-25-25), since this would mean it's geared for very high top speed, but I'm guessing (given the sheer size of it and the wheels) it's geared for torque, so 25-35-25-25 is the most likely answer for the MT, which would give it a ~1.4 ratio. Either way, does it really matter what the default is? Try it both ways and see which one you like :) Changing it to 25-35-25-25 should give you much better torque, but it will also drop your top speed significantly.

So MT has max speed ratio.

Why other lighter car has higher torque/low speed gear ratio?

If 35-25-25-25 is the stock gear setup on the MT, I wonder what's the center diff gear count and if it's the same on all platform.

Redcat confirmed, via email, that MT stock gear ratio is 25-35-25-25.
