27/33 is a good choice too, with the decreased diameter and considerably less rotational mass you can afford to gear it up a tad.
 
i run 30/30/25/25 mcd gears on my mt. it was way too slow for me with stock gearing. with tt or 5t tires i would go even steeper maybe 33/27/25/25 or more depending on where i was driving(parking lot or flat field). i like more top end. try swaping your A and B stock gears and see how you like it
