Which gearing is better for my on my MT PRO using the baja tires/rims...

I currently am 35/25/25/25 I believe...

What would be the better setup for me for overall goodness ?

Currently you have 25/35/25/25

The most common setup with Buggy tires and what comes buggy stock is 29/31(25/25) ...This gearing will give you more top end.

Don't try to use this gearing with the MT tires because your take-off will be agonizing....But if you drop in a more powerful engine (or rebuilt one) many hear will use the 29/31 with the MT tires and take-off is fine.

so 29/31/25/25 will be great with the baja rims/tires ??

and I should stick with 25/35/25/25 on the MT tires/rims ??

That's what I do on mine. If you have a hopped up motor you can swap the 29-31 to 31-29 that will give ya more top end. It's a little slow on the take off if your running the stock motor even with a pipe. The 29-31 is ideal.

Well it depends on which Baja wheels you are running. If your running bowties you can run the 29/31's. If they are Trenchers, Rodeo's, or any other 5T tire you may get a little boggy on the start without a good motor and pipe.

Well I did the 29/31/25/25 change today on the MT PRO and adjusting my tuning some. The thing is a top end rocket and is very fun, I got my chrome kit for the OBR engine and I'm bout to put that on and next step is cleaning the mt and installing the OBR engine...

whoop whoop!!!

Are you still using the MT wheels/tires? How is it off the line?

I am using baja rims with proline trencher tires, its pretty good off the line, and it should be even better once I install the HPI clutch w shoes...
