I see the stock MT comes with Option 2 gearing? 25 35 25 25. I'm assuming this is great for the low end. I'm assuming you I may want to upgrade the gears to steel. Which ones are prone to problem C and D?

the c/d one are the problem area. i put the mcd's in with good resoults, but that 30.5 really stresses them out so i would go with the streel gears for you. our mt's are geared at the lower end becouse of our larger diameter tires. gearing up is fun, but it all depends on what you like. i personely like to run higher gears to save the stress on the diffs..

Hey Kryp, have you had any diff cup probs? Maybe I need to gear my Ramp higher to save my diffs. Sprint77's rear dom is gonna eat my diff cup's with all the new found power.

my tt was geared at a-31 b- 29,c and d both 25 and i split a drive cup.i have just rebuilt my diffs and put hpi diff fluid in. as well as building the diffs so that they are not as tight(whatever the snot from the factory is it is nasty!). the one that i have done is really smooth, it was almost like having spools in both ends.i should see a big improvement!
