gearing suggestions

i finaly got my 5745s in the mail today and got to run my truck. broke in the motor,tuned a little,not real happy with the speed. lots of torque. not much top speed maybe 30. i usualy run in a parking lot or field so its pretty flat. can someone recomend a gear set for more top end. i know im gonna loose the low end but im not really concerned about it. its a 30cc mt pro

Most use 27/33. Seems to be a good balance.

i wonder if i can just swap the a and b gears. probly will be too much. ill try it clutches are cheap

2 sets of plastic 27/33 are about the price of a clutch

40-45 mph in a huge parking lot. what do ya think i should get? i want plastics.

If you are running buggy tires and want to switch to 5t tires that a gear change right there. If you want to run buggy tires I say 29/31 or 31/29 redcat gears.

27/33 is slower than 29/31 w/buggy tires. If you have mt tires its faster though than 25/25.

the 27/33 are ok,but the 30/30 set up is way better for the park that i run at. i was able to keep up with my brothers tmaxx 3.3. it has to do around 40-45. now im lovin my ramp, finaly! after all of the out of the box b.s. has been adressed

Thats The Next Set Im Going To Try. It Was Cool As Hell To See That Thing Fly Across The Park Though. Finaly Happy With It.
