does anyone know of a upgrade. original owner ran 1 1/2 tanks and gears r bad

get the aluminum gear mount, fast eddy bearings and mcd gears.

wondering what gears. if its the 2-25 tooth gears then they should have went out already. they are the only gears that are prone to blow outs. the mcd gears are perfect

ALL OF THEM? stoooop. (drive gears). is their on upgraded gear plate? if not you NEED one. thats standard equipment. comes free when you buy a new one from rob. with the stock one the bearings heat up the seat and give the gears a shimmy. cousing them to melt. redcat fixed that with the upgrade kit. to check, look behind the gear plate where the clutch bell is and if there is a large alum bearing race, then its upgraded. if not you need to get the upgrade kit. also check the bearings too.

I just got the upgrade kit. I need to change out all the gears before I put the upgrade in it , is there any better ones available. can I change the gearing to make it faster. thanks Kryptonite

mcd gears, 25/25. can also get the 27/33 mcd gears as a set from rampagehopups for gearing changes.
