Take the sparkplug out of the cylinder and touch the threads against the fins. Pull the starter and look for a blue spark. I use long rubber coated channel locks.

I'm fairly new to 1/5 scale, but usually it is a matter of setting the right gap between the mag and coil.

The kill switch shorts it out, if you remove the push on wires to the coil it removes the possible kill switch or killer b as being a problem.

I'm not sure if a ohm test would help....except to check a broken wire connection to the coil..?

I get no spark, checked it with ohm meter according to thread i found, get no reading from metal base to plug wire I am thinking I have a bad ignition coil.

i've been using the killer bee kill switch for a while now so when i had no spart day before yesterday it didn't cross my mind to check the red kill switch i hadn't touched it in weeks but somehow it had got itself depressed and was stuck and that was the problem.
