so, some help here. i need a motor/pipe/filter set-up with a budget of no more then $380.. the hard part is finding the best motor i can possibly get for what i want to spend. im opened for anything but a 30.5. i have a choice of a tgn, jetpro, or side dom. all of wich are $169. no ebay! please add links.
 
The G270RC 4 bolt is a good engine....side dom would work for that as well....
Only issue was the 3rd bearing for air leak..But guys have replaced the bearing with a oil seal....seems too take care of that issue....Cleck the forum to see who is running a G270
RC engine......Best to you on your choice......Slawhammer
 
i agree. the G270 with a Side Dom will be a good combo. stock HPI air filter housing with TGN Red neck dual stage filter and an outerwares around them it the ticket.

if you have a good bottom end stock stroke motor the Race Ported Zen G260 topends are pretty good screamers too. ESP is also supposed to have Full ESP ported Top End kits available at DDM within the next month or two if you can wait a bit to buy.

im afraid im going to have to change the clutch housing to get it to fit in my ramp.
can you bring some light to these package deals? i know the filters are junk, but its for on-road only(rampage mt V2)

timmah. i only have a few days, so i cant wait. this is also my first ever "full motor" purchase
 
I still say go with the G270RC 4 bolt engine..get the CY clutch housing complete
for 25 bucks..and use the side dom....That engine from O"neil 29CC is a CY ..
It is a good engine as well...I had one...lots of power..But I wanted to go 4 bolt
for better cylinder hold down and less blowen cylinder base gaskets....Slawhammer
